When we look at old ruins from days long gone, we always try to imagine what it might have looked like in its original state.
What purpose did the building serve, who built it and who were the inhabitants?
All too often we also find modern ruins that were doomed to die from the beginning.
Buildings that were never finished because of illegality, lack of building or bankruptcy.
What remains are lonely skeletons in beautiful natural landscapes.
Buildings that are neither dismantled nor rebuilt.
They are left to nature. Resources have been wasted and landscapes desecrated.
